With an almost 40% drop on average market capitalization of apparel, fashion, and luxury players between the start of January and March 24 2020 and an immense human impact, the COVID-19 crisis was a powerful wake-up call for global leaders to look beyond short-term measures to transform existing market mechanisms and business models.
This event, held on 7 July 2020, aimed to convene some of the leading voices that are needed to bring plans to life in order to contribute in the short term to the recovery of the textile industry following the pandemic and -in the medium-long term- to make it re-emerge with an even stronger commitment to accelerating the circular economy, both regionally and globally.
