International profiles join GFA’s board of directors

Global Fashion Agenda is pleased to have welcomed three high-level international profiles to its board of directors this year: Thomas Tochtermann, Cristiana Falcone and Kigge Hvid.

Thomas Tochtermann is now deputy chairman of Global Fashion Agenda’s board of directors while continuing in the role ofchairman of Global Fashion Agenda’s steering committee. Tochtermann is director emeritus and senior adviser at McKinsey & Company, Inc. and for over three decades, he has advised international clients in the fashion, luxury and consumer segments. Furthermore, Tochtermann chairs and serves on multiple supervisory boards in Germany and Denmark and serves as a trusted adviser to senior executives in companies around the globe.

Cristiana Falcone is a global leader in media, business and social development sectors. Over the past 15+ years she has honed her experience as a strategic adviser, investor and philanthropist and acquired vast experience with multinationals, international organisations and the media.Falcone presently serves as senior adviser to the executive chairman and founder of the World Economic Forumon New Initiatives and Special Projects. Furthermore, Falcone is an early investor and adviser in several young talented hand-picked start-ups and holds leadership roles in several organisations.


Kigge Hvid is an independent advisor for companies, non-profits, organisations and governments. She has been awarded several awards for her global leadership role in design and sustainability. She recently left her position as founding CEO of INDEX: Design to Improve Life,was founding member of World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council of Design and remains member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Expert network.

Global Fashion Agenda is thrilled to have Tochtermann, Falcone and Hvid join its board of directors, which includes our chairman Niels Eskildsen, CEO of Designers Remix; Thomas Klausen, CEO of Dansk Fashion and Textile; Jens Obel Jørgensen, CEO of DK Company and Jacob Kampp Berliner, CEO of Soulland.
