Last week we welcomed Dana Schou to Global Fashion Agenda where she will join our management team as Communications Director. With over 20 years of experience in the luxury sector, sustainability and non-profit leadership, we’re thrilled to have her on board.
Schou joins us from LVMH and UNICEF, where she worked with fashion multi-nationals and NGOs respectively. She sits on several boards focusing on topics related to female empowerment such as maternal health and microfinance and holds a Masters from Cambridge University’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
At Global Fashion Agenda, Schou will oversee the communication of the world’s foremost leadership forum on sustainability in fashion, including its flagship event, Copenhagen Fashion Summit. As Global Fashion Agenda’s reach and organisation grows, Schou will shape the brand’s core messaging alongside the communications team.
“I am thrilled to join such a pioneering organisation that is striving to create positive change across the globe. My role at GFA will be a perfect opportunity to combine my years of experience spanning luxury goods, sustainability, philanthropy and fashion into one common goal. Sustainability is a complex issue, so effective communication is vital in order to establish widespread awareness and spark change. I am passionate about the issue and can’t wait to join the team to help push our agenda forward.”
