Copenhagen, 9 December 2020.
After 15 successful years of building and leading Copenhagen based Global Fashion Agenda with its iconic Copenhagen Fashion Summit, CEO Eva Kruse has decided to pursue new career opportunities and will step down as CEO end of February 2021.
– Niels Eskildsen Chairman of Global Fashion Agenda: “Eva has shaped Global Fashion Agenda from an idea around sustainable fashion and a conference into a professionally managed foundation and global thought leader for the fashion industry to achieve sustainability. She has also built a strong management team that will carry forward the foundation in partnership with a new CEO. While we regret to see Eva leave, we are excited that Eva will join the Board of Directors of Global Fashion Agenda and we wish her all the best for the future.”
– Eva Kruse, outgoing CEO of Global Fashion Agenda: “Clearly it has not been an easy decision to leave my life’s work with Global Fashion Agenda and not least my amazing team. However, time has come for me to seek new challenges and opportunities. I will join Pangaia, a material science company where I can combine my passion for creating impact with both material science and product design. I remain convinced about the mission of Global Fashion Agenda and believe the future for the foundation is incredibly important and exiting. I’m very pleased to be able to continue to be part of the development by being part of the Board.”
Global Fashion Agenda’s nomination committee is currently conducting a systematic search process for a new CEO that will implement and build on the successful strategy signed off by the board in 2018. In the meantime, the foundation will be jointly led by Travis Peoples, Chief Operating Officer, and Niels Eskildsen, Chairman.
