JOB DESCRIPTION
Global Fashion Agenda is seeking an experienced full-time Digital Communications Manager to focus on digital project management, marketing, website development and social media management at Global Fashion Agenda, the leading forum for industry collaboration and public-private cooperation on fashion sustainability. Among Global Fashion Agenda’s key activities are the Copenhagen Fashion Summit (physical) and CFS+ (online), the leading business events on sustainability in fashion.
Global Fashion Agenda’s impact is growing, so we are looking for a highly driven and ambitious colleague to join us on the next chapter of our journey. As Digital Communications Manager, you will join an agile communication team of five. You will report to the Communications Director and co-manage a Digital Designer and a Communications Assistant.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Website management: Project managing website updates and new website builds, editing web body text and images, Google Analytic reporting
Social media management: Developing and executing social media strategy, image sourcing, reporting, sponsorship content and occasional paid promotion
Project management: Managing the digital content calendar and associated deadlines, creating timelines for input delivery for internal and external partners and managing the relationship and external delivery deadlines from agencies. Managing online events like webinars and CFS+
YouTube Channel management: Keeping the Global Fashion Agenda YouTube channel updated and alive
Marketing: Building and handling the sales and marketing related to tickets for bigger events like Copenhagen Fashion Summit/CFS+
Digital storytelling: Editing digital content and overseeing content syndication across digital platforms
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
A minimum of 3-6 years of working experience and a bachelor or master’s degree within marketing, communications, business, public relations or a related field
Basic knowledge of graphic design and related software skills, e.g. WordPress
A working knowledge of sustainability in the fashion industry, a strong sustainability vocabulary and understanding of the sensitivities/nuances within sustainability communications (green washing, diversity, cultural privilege, etc.)
Fluency in English, native is preferred, with exceptional writing, editing and proof-reading skills
Experience in delivering digital projects and crafting strategies
Highly organised, with strong skills in time management, planning and meeting deadlines
Interest in working in a fast-paced, dynamic, sometimes challenging, but always team-oriented work environment
Business acumen, action-orientated mindset and a drive for results
Strong writing skills translating off-line content into engaging online content
A proven track record of delivering impactful social media results
