GLOBAL FASHION AGENDA is looking for an enthusiastic and structured intern to support the communications team across both digital communications and PR activities. This is a full-time internship, beginning February/March 2021 and lasting for six months, with the potential to extend.
You will assist the Communications team which is responsible for communicating all Global Fashion Agenda initiatives, including the the leading event on sustainability in fashion, Copenhagen Fashion Summit which will take place in June 2022. As Communications Intern, you will have a specific focus on supporting the management and content creation of Global Fashion Agenda’s social media platforms and website whilst also assisting with the team with general communications activities.
Assist in the content creation for the editorial calendar and have responsibility for drafting captions and scheduling across social media platforms
Assist with development of content for social media platforms; including ideation, graphic design tasks and other creative tasks
Assist with uploading content to web and website graphics (sections: news, employee profiles, press, speakers/ advisers etc.)
Support community management on social media
Support the creation of newsletters – drafting texts, selecting images, setting up the newsletter in MailChimp
Maintain the press database and coverage reporting
Support incoming press requests and accreditation submissions
Assist with office tasks together with the organisation’s other interns and student workers
Support the team in any ad hoc duties and internal administration support
Currently studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree
Passion for sustainability, writing, PR and social media
Flawless English communication skills, both written and spoken
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, WordPress
Strong writing skills and the ability to translate offline content into engaging online content
Extremely organised with high attention to detail and able to multi-task
Can work under pressure and flexible hours
Can work independently and take on responsibility for assignments
A team player, pro-active, enthusiastic and sociable with a positive outlook
