This year’s digital edition of the industry-renowned Copenhagen Fashion Summit – CFS+ focused on the theme ‘Prosperity vs. Growth’. CFS+ convened core stakeholders across fashion, interlinked industries, investment, NGOs and policy to explore how the industry can thrive today in favour of tomorrow.

The Circular Fashion Partnership is a cross-sectorial project led by Global Fashion Agenda with project partners REVERSE RESOURCES and BGMEA, to accelerate the transition to a circular fashion industry, by demonstrating a Circular Fashion Business Case in Bangladesh. The project is made possible in collaboration with P4G.
In a warming world, Fashion on Climate (2020) offers new insight into the fashion industry’s greenhouse gas emissions and sets out a range of possible responses. Global Fashion Agenda and McKinsey & Company leverage proprietary research to show how fashion players can curb emissions through the fashion value cycle and align with targets set out in the Paris Agreement on climate change.
The Innovation Forum was launched in 2018 to connect fashion companies with sustainable solution providers – to put words into action. Now the Innovation Forum is a digital platform, showcasing over 40 of the most noteworthy sustainable solution providers. You will be able to learn about their latest technologies, explore the processes by which they create change and request meetings with them.
At Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2017, Global Fashion Agenda called on the fashion industry to take action on circularity by signing the 2020 Circular Fashion System Commitment (henceforth 2020 Commitment) as a concrete way to turn words into action and to accelerate the industry’s transition to a circular fashion system.
When it comes to creating sustainable fashion products, one of the biggest challenges today is: how do we disrupt profitable fossil-fuel reliant old ways of production, to find new sustainable net-zero methods that benefit people and planet? Enter 2021’s the Designer Challenge, the annual project from Global Fashion Agenda.
We envision a policy framework where legislative and policy initiatives incentivise and appropriately support the fashion industry to become circular and thus more sustainable. Global Fashion Agenda proactively advocates for policy changes and supportive measures that reinforce sustainability targets and prompt policymakers to take informed action to foster necessary change.
In 2017, Global Fashion Agenda and BCG embarked on a partnership, along with the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), to deliver the Pulse Report, a qualitative and quantitative report of the sustainability performance of the global fashion Industry. The publication provided a comprehensive data-based report in the form of an annual assessment of the industry’s environmental and social performance
