Pulse of The Fashion Industry 2018 report released

Today, we together with The Boston Consulting Group, proudly release the 2018 edition of the Pulse of the Fashion Industry report, our annual in-depth assessment of the fashion industry's environmental and social performance. According to the 124-page industry assessment, 75% of fashion companies have improved their environmental and social performance over the last year, and the business case has proven to be nothing but positive. However, we also find that the pace of change isn't going fast enough - or far enough. Download the full Pulse of The Fashion Industry 2018 report or the executive summary.

Global Fashion Agenda’s two-fold event in London

On 17 April we travelled to London to host a two-fold fashion sustainability event for the UK press. First, there was a masterclass on sustainability in fashion on how to report on this very complex issue. Speakers included Maria Nishio, senior lecturer of Central Saint Martins; Catarina Midby, sustainability manager of H&M UK and Ireland; and Morten Lehmann, CSO of Global Fashion Agenda. Second, we hosted a press conference, moderated by former CNN International news anchor Monita Rajpal, about the upcoming Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2018. With more than 50 engaged attendees from the UK press, Global Fashion Agenda is already looking forward to a future visit to the UK to take the discussion on sustainability even further.
