Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2018 turned words into action


1,300 key players from more than 50 countries across the globe representing the fashion sector, politics, NGOs, academia and the media gathered for the sixth edition of the world’s leading annual business event on sustainability, Copenhagen Fashion Summit. “We have to have this conversation and we have to be held accountable,” proclaimed sustainability pioneer and fashion designer Stella McCartney in conversation with former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair, Graydon Carter. McCartney’s words summed up this year’s edition of Copenhagen Fashion Summit, the world’s leading business event on sustainability in fashion, which took place at Copenhagen Concert Hall on 15-16 May 2018. Pulse of The Fashion Industry 2018 report released


Today, we together with The Boston Consulting Group, proudly release the 2018 edition of the Pulse of the Fashion Industry report, our annual in-depth assessment of the fashion industry's environmental and social performance. According to the 124-page industry assessment, 75% of fashion companies have improved their environmental and social performance over the last year, and the business case has proven to be nothing but positive.
